Siemens Power Generation

The construction of the new administration building 91 and medium load hall 81 complement the existing group of buildings at the plant in Mülheim-Hafen. The energy concept was developed according to the core thinking of sustainability and fulfils the EU Green Building Standard.
The office space and server rooms are supplied with monovalent geothermal heat and cooling, with internal heat sources fed back directly into the building via the brine circuit or buffered in the boreholes. The well system serves to protect against thermal peaks. Boreholes and wells were established in a water protection area, without endangering the neighbouring drinking water supply.
