P3 Park Kamen

P3 Park Kamen lies in the eastern part of the Ruhr region, in the district of Unna, near the Kamener Kreuz autobahn junction, with superb transport connections. The two most significant autobahns in the region transect here: the A1 for north-south traffic (Hamburg-Cologne-Saarbrücken) and the A2 in an east-west direction (Oberhausen-Hanover-Berlin). The logistics park on Henry-Everling-Straße, 59174 Kamen lies in the immediate vicinity of junction 83 (Kamen Zentrum) for the A1 autobahn. The airports at Dortmund and Düsseldorf are 13 and 40 km distant respectively.

In collaboration with the WFG and the town of Kamen this site, originally featuring old warehouse structures, is to be the location for the largest German logistics park of the developer and portfolio holder P3, which is one of the leading market players throughout Europe, with more than 4.2 m m² of modern logistics space.

In total, the 24 hectare site on the A1 in the Ruhr region will see the construction of some 120,000 m² of logistics space, completed in two stages. Construction stage 1 comprises five hall sections, four of which are set to be handed over by October 2018.

80% of the first section of the logistics park (approx. 43,500 m² of logistics space) was already let prior to the beginning of construction. A hall section of 8,770 m² will be available to customers from November 2018. The space is suitable for 24/7 use, making it ideal for contract logistics and distribution.

The area adjoining the southern side is to be cleared from the end of 2018 and completely redeveloped. From the end of 2019 a further 78,800 m² of state-of-the-art logistics space will be completed here.

The logistics halls satisfy the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). They have a clearance height of 12 metres and a floor load of 6 tonnes per m². One gate is planned for every 1,000 m². Features include an FM Global sprinkler system. Office and personnel areas are completed to a high standard in keeping with the individual requirements of the tenants.
