Modern and comfortable housing on the Bochum Hermannshöhe
A new residential quarter is taking shape on a site of around 5,600 square metres near Bochum main railway station, at the southern edge of Bochum city centre. In this central location the project developer Arsatec GmbH is building seven apartment buildings with 89 apartments for VIVAWEST on the former Lueg site. VIVAWEST manages over 120,000 homes in around 100 municipalities on the Rhine and Ruhr and will incorporate the buildings into its portfolio on their completion. VIVAWEST manages around 2,700 residential units in Bochum.
The 89 modern and minimal-barrier apartments are spread across seven buildings with four full floors and an additional staggered floor. A broad mix of two to four-room apartments with floor plans of between 61 and 122 square metres will appeal to singles as well as couples and families. The ground floor apartments have their own garden. On the upper floors the apartments feature balconies, whilst on the staggered floor (penthouse) spacious roof terraces are provided. The green courtyard with play area and quiet zones invite future tenants to relax and pass the time. The high-quality finish of the apartments includes, amongst other features, parquet flooring, stone floor tiles in bathroom and kitchen, underfloor heating, electric roller blinds, white wallpaper, media connections in each living space and a video intercom system.

The bathrooms have walk-in showers with shower partition and heated towel rails. Each building has a lift, enabling each floor to be reached seamlessly. Heating of the apartments is via district heating.
Underground parking is foreseen, encompassing 91 spaces. The apartments will fulfil the KfW 70 standard and are set to be completed by the end of 2018.
