Successful Health Lab on Health Campus Bochum
It has become clear in the past few months that the health economy of the future is a popular topic. Innovation CALL – Innovation LAB – Innovation DAY have been the formats by which the BMR has started a nationwide competition, searching for the best ideas of the health economy of the future. The results of the competition have shown that they exist – good ideas and innovative concepts.
Once again on the Health Lab in September 2017, companies from the creative industry met companies and institutions from the health care economy who are interested in creative and innovative ideas and concepts. In the rooms of the Aesculap Academy on the Health Campus Bochum, six creative companies have shown their ideas and projects in the fields of e-health, success factor design and places of health care and reported from the cooperation with companies of the health economy, all within a few minutes. There was also professional input from keynotes of Dr. Dirk Albrecht, managing director of Contilia GmbH as well as of Uwe Brockmann, managing director of Cyberdyne Care Robotics GmbH.
Of course, the interactive exchange was not to be missed. Subsequent to the interesting presentations and speeches, the companies of both industries met in a relaxed atmosphere and discussed chances and opportunities. In the trend corner, the products of the creative companies could be tested.
We planned the Health Lab along with our cooperation partner, the agency GesundheitsCampus Bochum, and this event rounded off the event series of Innovationsraum Ruhr 2017. Johannes Peuling, head of the agency GesundheitsCampus Bochum, is happy about the active participation and this dynamic, trans-sectoral format: “This exchange is very fruitful for the health economy. Our agency takes over this topic from the BMR and we are looking forward to future events. There is high potential in this area and we assist interested companies as project supporters.”
By the way
The next Innovation Call is already about to start: the topic is urban mobility of the future and creative heads of this industry will be in demand. Connected, digital, electrical, autonomous – what do innovative solutions look like in order to make urban mobility ready for the future? Soon the Innovation Call 2018 will start and addresses to start-ups, companies and students from the fields of design, architecture and software development / games.
