Sports activities in the Metropole Ruhr
Sport - especially football - brings a real kick to the region. The region's enthusiasm for football is reflected in the number of clubs playing in the Bundesliga and division two. The football stadiums of Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 are top international addresses and amongst the largest and most modern stadiums in the world.
